Meet the Gladiator 72 Max - a 72V battery like no other, with near limitless potential. With speed, power, and range, the 72 Max has it all. This battery is a higher voltage and requires the use of an aftermarket controller to make it compatible, as well as a 72V charger.

How does it stand in our lineup? 

The 72 Max is designed for riders who are looking for a top of line 72V battery to provide the best in performance. Crank up the power and leave everyone in the dust! With over 30kw of real-world continuous power, (yes really!), the 72 Max allows you to push your bike to new limits with ease. The 72 Max requires you to swap your base plate (included) and is currently our tallest in the Gladiator line-up. If you’re looking for a 72V battery that fits with the stock base plate and has a lower profile, we recommend checking out the 72 Compact. 

This battery will require you to have a 72V compatible controller, as well as a 72V charger. The stock Sur-Ron controller and charger are not compatible with the Gladiator 72 Max. If you’re looking for a battery that is compatible with your stock Sur-Ron controller/charger, we recommend checking out the 60 Max, or one of our other 60V options. 

This Battery is made to order and is expected to ship in 6-8 weeks after purchase. Lead times vary based on order volume and we will try our best to beat our fulfillment estimate. Thanks for understanding!

Specs

Super powerful 72V battery  that can provide over 30kw of continuous power and ~20% more speed compared to your stock battery. Includes custom backlit percent display, original Sur-Ron charge/discharge connector, reinforced carrying handle, and hardware for stock-lid fitment.

The 72 Max is built in-house using grade A 21700 cells with a Smart BMS and a custom PCB. It can deliver 420 Amps of continuous discharge and 540 Amps peak. Provides high performance throughout discharge and includes overcharge protection. Pure nickel is used in construction, allowing the battery to run at staggeringly high efficiency and eliminating the possibility of overheating. Cell groups are isolated for superior durability, impact resistance, and each individual cell is fused for safety.

QS8 Bike Harness:

This is a harness cable upgrade for your Sur-Ron, replacing the OEM bike harness to provide higher current capability. Comes with a Male QS8 connector with 7 AWG. This harness cable is not used with the Sur-Ron breaker, which can be removed from the bike, giving you more space for wire routing. Meant to be paired with the QS8 connector version of this battery.
