All batteries are made to order in our Illinois factory. Due to extremely high order volume the estimated lead time can be up to 60 days. Although we expect the majority will deliver sooner, it is best to err on the side of caution so you can plan accordingly. Thank you! 

Introducing the Gladiator 66 Odyssey, a game changing upgrade for your Sur-Ron. This 66V battery boasts additional power and speed - all while utilizing your stock controller. Want to kick it up a notch? When you are ready to upgrade your controller the 66 Odyssey will deliver even more performance. Halfway in-between 60V and 72V, this battery offers a unique experience. With an XT-60 top mounted charge port you can charge this battery as fast as 45 Amps with our Chi Charger.

Now comes in a steel enclosure, which is built in-house starting with a sheet of raw steel that is bent, welded, powder coated, and laser engraved by our highly trained fabrication team. Features an injection molded lid with relocated discharge wires. 

How does it stand in our lineup? 

Are you having trouble deciding between 60V and 72V? Don't worry, we have an answer for that. The 66 Odyssey is perfect for riders looking to begin their upgrade journey. Providing more range, power and speed, it is an all-in-one package for your Sur-Ron. It achieves this by utilizing the extra tolerance in your stock controller. For those who already have an upgraded controller, the 21700 Samsung cells give you 20KW of real world continuous power to work with (30KW peak). With 3888 Watt Hours and 60 Amp Hours of capacity, you will see major gains to your range. The 66 Odyssey requires you to swap your stock base plate with a new one, which is included with your order. If you’re looking for a drop-in option with plenty of power, we recommend checking out the 66 Pulsar 

If you are mostly interested in range, checkout our 60V Sur-Ron Batteries, also compatible with your stock controller. Already upgraded to an aftermarket controller and have a need for even more speed? Our 72V Sur-Ron lineup might be of interest to you! The 66 Odyssey requires a new charger, and will not be compatible with the stock charger. A standard charger is available with this battery for $15, or you can upgrade to one of our higher power options. Order cancelation requests after 72 hours are subject to a 25% re-stocking fee. All battery sales outside of the lower 48 are final and cannot be refunded or returned. Battery servicing for Hawaii customers is outsourced to a local repair center. If you are having issues with a product please reach out to our support team.

Specs

High power battery that offers 20% more power on a stock controller and up to 20KW of continuous power on an aftermarket controller (30KW peak). Gain around 10%-20% more speed with the stock controller (varies depending on set up). Includes new custom steel enclosure, upgraded discharge wiring and connector, reinforced carrying handle, injection molded battery cap, and hardware for stock-lid fitment. Comes standard with QS10-P High Power connector and upgraded wiring (6 AWG). 

The 66 Odyssey is built in-house using grade A 21700 cells with a Smart BMS with active balancing, custom PCB, galaxy grey enclosure, and 45A charging capability*. It can deliver 300 Amps of continuous discharge and 460 Amps peak. Provides high performance throughout discharge and includes overcharge protection. Pure nickel is used in construction, allowing the battery to run at staggeringly high efficiency and eliminating the possibility of overheating. Cell groups are isolated for superior durability, impact resistance, and each individual cell is fused for safety.

*Fast charging WILL degrade your battery quicker. We recommend utilizing fast charging only when needed.

QS10-P High Power Bike Harness:

This is a harness cable upgrade for your Sur-Ron, replacing the OEM bike harness to provide higher current capability. Comes with a Male QS10-P connector with 6 AWG. This harness cable is not used with the Sur-Ron breaker, which can be removed from the bike, giving you more space for wire routing. The harness comes with an inline fuse pre-installed. Contact us if you are looking for a Supra Adapter to connect to the stock battery harness (2023 model Sur-Ron and earlier only).

How to correctly use the connectors: Plug in the first half of the connector for 3-5 seconds to allow for the filter capacitors to pre charge before making the full connection.
