How does it stand in our lineup? 

The 72 Pulsar Touring is a fantastic battery upgrade to boost your range, power, and speed. You'll notice a massive difference coming from a 60V system. It has a capacity of 45 amp hours (3240 watt hours) and a continuous discharge rating of 15kw (29kw peak). It also comes in a steel enclosure, which is built in-house starting with a sheet of raw steel that is bent, welded, powder coated, and laser engraved by our highly trained fabrication team. Features an injection molded lid with front mounted discharge wires.

If you like the Pulsar style, but are looking for more power, we encourage you to checkout our 72 Pulsar (38ah). We also offer a 66 Pulsar (50ah) which is stock controller compatible! 

This battery is a higher voltage and requires the use of an aftermarket controller to make it compatible, as well as a 72V charger. A standard charger is provided with this battery for free, or you can upgrade to a Variable charger.

This battery comes standard with a QS8 connector and 7 AWG wiring. If you select the "Supra Adapter" option you will receive an adapter to make it connect directly to the stock Sur-Ron harness. If you select the QS8 option you will receive a new power harness for your bike which is upgraded over the stock wiring (recommended). Compatible with 2024 Sur-Ron but requires QS8 version of the battery.

This product comes with a 2 year warranty. Order cancelation requests after 72 hours are subject to a 25% re-stocking fee. All battery sales outside of the lower 48 are final and cannot be refunded or returned. Battery servicing for Hawaii customers is outsourced to a local repair center. If you are having issues with a product please reach out to our support team.

Super energy dense 72V battery that can provide 15kw of continuous power (29kw peak) all while fitting with no lid risers. Includes new custom steel enclosure, upgraded discharge wiring and connector, reinforced carrying handle, injection molded battery cap, and CNC milled Acetal battery tray. Comes standard with QS8 connector and upgraded wiring (7 AWG). 

The 72 Pulsar is built in-house using grade A 21700 cells with a Smart BMS and a custom PCB. It can deliver 200 Amps of continuous discharge and 405 Amps peak. Provides high performance throughout discharge, includes overcharge protection, and discharge is run through the BMS. Pure nickel is used in construction, allowing the battery to run at staggeringly high efficiency and eliminating the possibility of overheating. Cell groups are isolated for superior durability, impact resistance, and each individual cell is fused for safety.

Add On

QS8 Bike Harness:

This is a harness cable upgrade for your Sur-Ron, replacing the OEM bike harness to provide higher current capability. Comes with a Male QS8 connector with 7 AWG. This harness cable is not used with the Sur-Ron breaker, which can be removed from the bike, giving you more space for wire routing. The harness comes with an inline fuse pre-installed. Meant to be paired with the QS8 connector version of this battery. 

How to correctly use the connectors: Plug in the first half of the connector for 3-5 seconds to allow for the filter capacitors to pre charge before making the full connection.
