Meet the Gladiator 60 Max, Our Flagship Sur-Ron Battery Upgrade. This 60v battery changes the game in terms of power - made to meet the needs of the most aggressive riders, from stock controllers to aftermarket ones.
Now comes in a steel enclosure, which is built in-house starting with a sheet of raw steel that is bent, welded, powder coated, and laser engraved by our highly trained fabrication team. Features an injection molded lid with relocated discharge wires.
How does it stand in our lineup?
The 60 Max is aimed towards maximizing power while also providing a ton of range - the best of both worlds. With more power available then you’ll ever need, (up to 28K cont. and 40KW peak) this ensures the battery can handle anything you throw at it while achieving over double the range. The 60 Max requires you to swap your stock base plate with a new one, which is included with your order.
This battery is best suited for those using an aftermarket controller who want to increase performance dramatically, or for those using a stock controller who want to keep the option open to upgrade to aftermarket in the future. If you are primarily interested in range, we recommend checking out the 60 Touring. The 60 Max will work with your stock charger or our Variable Rapid Charger! Compatible with 2024 Sur-Ron but requires QS8/QS10 version of the battery.
Order cancelation requests after 72 hours are subject to a 25% re-stocking fee. All battery sales outside of the lower 48 are final and cannot be refunded or returned. Battery servicing for Hawaii customers is outsourced to a local repair center. If you are having issues with a product please reach out to our support team.

This 60 Max is built in-house using grade A 21700 Molicel cells with a Smart BMS. It can deliver 490 Amps of continuous discharge and 630 Amps peak. Provides high performance throughout discharge and includes overcharge protection. Pure nickel is used in construction, allowing the battery to run at staggeringly high efficiency and eliminating the possibility of overheating. Cell groups are isolated for superior durability, impact resistance, and each individual cell is fused for safety.

QS8 Bike Harness:
This is a harness cable upgrade for your Sur-Ron, replacing the OEM bike harness to provide higher current capability. Comes with a Male QS8 connector with 7 AWG. This harness cable is not used with the Sur-Ron breaker, which can be removed from the bike, giving you more space for wire routing. The harness comes with an inline fuse pre-installed. Meant to be paired with the QS8 connector version of this battery. QS10 versions of this harness with 6 AWG also available.
How to correctly use the connectors: Plug in the first half of the connector for 3-5 seconds to allow for the filter capacitors to pre charge before making the full connection.

FAQ
Is the Gladiator compatible with the 2024 Sur-Ron?
Yes, but you need to use the QS8 version of the battery and switch the stock power harness with the included QS8 power harness.
Will The Gladiator work with my stock controller?
As long as it is one of the 60V or 66V Gladiator options, your stock controller is completely compatible. (Your stock charger is only compatible with our 60V Gladiator options). If you are looking at one of the 72V Gladiators you will need an aftermarket controller and a 72V charger.
What does the Plug do?
The Plug is only needed on stock controllers. The Plug bridges a connection in the unused connector and allows for full controller power to be utilized, while stopping debris from getting in. Since we aren't using that connector the Plug gives it the ability to send the extra signal that is needed. There are no drawbacks, it is just there to give stock controller users the ability to harness the full power of their stock controller.
Can you ship a Gladiator to me in Europe?
Unfortunately, Europe has changed their regulations on what they will and will not accept. They currently are not accepting hazardous materials over 10kg so we cannot ship Gladiators. We are hoping to have a solution at some point but we are unable to facilitate Gladiator sales in Europe at this time.
Will I see a speed increase with the 60V Gladiator options?
You may see a slight increase of 1-3mph but nothing significant, you will however notice that you can maintain your top speed for much longer without dealing with cut outs! To see a true increase in speed you will want to go with a 66V or 72V Gladiator. This is due to the voltage, higher voltage means higher speed!
Do I need to change anything in the Smart BMS App? What is important to know about it?
No, you will not need to change or adjust anything within the app! It is pre-programmed for the gladiator. The only things within the app that will be accurate and significant to you are the voltage, cell group levels and the temperature. You can disregard any of the other readings. If you want to change something such as low voltage cut off you will want to do that in your controller settings!
What should my low voltage cut off be set to? (aftermarket controllers)
For a 60V Gladiator the lowest we recommend is 46.4v which is 2.9v per cell group.
For a 66V Gladiator you will want to set it to 52.2v which is 2.9 per cell group.
For a 72V Gladiator you will want to set it to 58v which is 2.9V per cell group.
For a 81V Gladiator you will want to set it to 63.8V which is 2.9V per cell group.

When can I expect my order to be shipped?
Each product page will let you know if your product of choice is available for immediate shipping or if they have a lead time. If there is a lead time you can use that timeframe to estimate shipping based on the date you order was placed. If you notice that your order has exceeded this estimate, reach out to our support team!
What payment methods can I use?
You can use Credit, Debit, ShopPay, Google Pay, and Facebook Pay. Any other payment method will not be accepted.
My order status is "Pending" What does that mean?
Pending order status means that you placed the order, but we haven't shipped it yet. Some products have longer lead times than others, so you might find your order in Pending status for a little while until it's shipped. If you have any issues with your order, please don't hesitate to reach out to us here.
How can I change my address after placing an order?
Submitted the wrong address? No worries! Just submit a Change Order ticket here. If we haven't already shipped your items, we'll change the address and confirm with you. If we've already shipped the products out, we may still be able to change the address. Just submit the ticket and we'll contact the delivery service company on your behalf - keeping you updated the whole time.
Why is the cost for international shipping so high?
Lithium batteries are regulated as a hazardous material as they present both chemical and electrical hazards. So due to regulations we need to follow, including having a Hazmat Certification, we are assessed extra fees that go along with shipping internationally. We incur much of the cost, but there is still some responsibility for the consumer.
Will I have to pay import tax for international orders?
Yes, Import tax is up to the customer to pay. Since each destination will have differing costs we will have no way to determine how much it will cost during checkout!
How long does it take once shipped?
For domestic orders you can expect to receive your package within 2-5 business days. For international orders you can expect to receive it between 7-10 business days. *It is important to note international orders can take longer than this estimated time due to the nature of the packages and each individual country's procedures.
I have an international order and my DHL tracking says “on-hold”.
When a package says “on-hold’ there is usually nothing to worry about. This status indicates that it may be taking longer than expected to clear customs. If you notice an “on-hold” status lasting longer than a week without movement contact our support team.
Can I change an order after I place it?
Yes! In general, we always maintain as much flexibility as possible with order changes. If your order hasn't been shipped out yet, we'll always allow item changes. The main exception to this process are custom requests. We cannot offer too many changes to a custom product request for obvious reasons!
What happens if there is an issue with my package?
With Shipping Protection Plan:
Coverage and Resolution Timeframe:
The plan covers lost or stolen packages, with a resolution provided within 5-7 business days. If your product arrives damaged, you are eligible for a replacement product.
Reporting Damaged Products:
Please submit your request through the “Contact” page on our website. Damaged products must be reported within 48 hours of receipt and must be unused. If a replacement is issued, the original product must be returned. A label will be provided for the return.
Reporting Lost Products:
Please submit your request through the “Contact” page on our website. If a “lost in transit” product arrives after a replacement has been sent, the original product must be returned. If your package was stolen a police report must be filed by the customer for orders exceeding $500 USD before any resolution can occur.

Resolutions for lost or stolen packages will be provided within 45 days. Products reported as damaged in shipping are eligible for warranty repair.

We reserve the right to refuse a replacement if there is reason to suspect a fraudulent claim. If the lost or stolen item is a service case being returned, you will only be eligible for a replacement of equivalent value.
