Looking to push the bar past 72V? Well this battery upgrade may be the one for you. The Gladiator 81 Odyssey is our highest voltage Sur-Ron battery yet! Requires an aftermarket controller capable of handling 92.4V as well as a 92.4V charger. 

Comes in a steel enclosure, which is built in-house starting with a sheet of raw steel that is bent, welded, powder coated, and laser engraved by our highly trained fabrication team. Features an injection molded lid with discharge wires coming out the front for easier wire management. 

How does it stand in our lineup? 

The 81 Odyssey is a high voltage battery upgrade designed range, power, and high speed. We have three versions of this battery for you to pick so you can decide which kind of rocket ship you want to turn your bike into! Our Standard Version offers solid power of 20KW continuous (32KW peak) and fantastic range, with just shy of 4,000 Watt Hours to play with. The Pro Version has a slightly smaller capacity but packs a larger punch rated for 28KW of continuous power (39KW peak). Then we have our Pro+ Version which uses the P50B Supercell which does not compromise! Rated for a blistering 47KW while maintaining the same capacity as our Standard Version, nothing is left on the table - because it all flew off as you sped by! Whichever option you pick the 81 Odyssey will not disappoint as the age of higher voltage batteries is in full swing. With an XT-60 top mounted charge port you can charge this battery as fast as 45 Amps with our Chi Charger.

The Gladiator 81 Odyssey is the same height as our other Odyssey offerings. If you are looking for stock fitting batteries, check out our Pulsar series! This battery will require you to have a 92.4V compatible controller, as well as a 92.4V charger. The stock Sur-Ron controller and charger are not compatible with the Gladiator 81 Touring. If you’re looking for a battery that is compatible with your stock Sur-Ron controller/charger, we recommend checking out our 60 & 66 Odyssey Batteries. Compatible with 2024 Sur-Ron but requires QS8/QS10 version of the battery. We strongly recommend the QS10 for the highest power delivery applications.

Super energy dense 81V battery that starts with 20kw of continuous power and goes all the way up to 47KW depending on model. Provides and a much higher top speed compared to your stock battery. Includes new custom steel enclosure, upgraded discharge wiring and connector, reinforced carrying handle, injection molded battery cap, hardware for stock-lid fitment, and CNC milled Acetal battery tray. Comes standard with QS8 connector and upgraded wiring (7 AWG). Select Supra option for stock harness compatibility. Also available with QS10 and 6 AWG. 

The 81 Touring is built in-house using grade A 21700 cells with a Smart BMS with active balancing, galaxy grey enclosure, and 45A charging capability*. The Standard Version is rated for 250 Amps of continuous discharge and 400 Amps peak. The Pro Version is rated for 350 Amps of continuous discharge and 450 Amps peak. The Pro+ version is rated for 47KW. Provides high performance throughout discharge and includes overcharge protection. Pure nickel is used in construction, allowing the battery to run at staggeringly high efficiency and eliminating the possibility of overheating. Cell groups are isolated for superior durability, impact resistance, and each individual cell is fused for safety.  

*Fast charging WILL degrade your battery quicker. We recommend utilizing fast charging only when needed.

QS8/QS10 Bike Harness:

This is a harness cable upgrade for your Sur-Ron, replacing the OEM bike harness to provide higher current capability. Comes with a Male QS8/QS10 connector with 7 AWG/6 AWG. This harness cable is not used with the Sur-Ron breaker, which can be removed from the bike, giving you more space for wire routing. The harness comes with an inline fuse pre-installed. Meant to be paired with the QS8 connector version of this battery. 

How to correctly use the connectors: Plug in the first half of the connector for 3-5 seconds to allow for the filter capacitors to pre charge before making the full connection.
