The Rebel Touring is the largest drop-in Onyx RCR battery upgrade on the market. Built for range, the Rebel Touring will take your riding experience farther than before. Using and removing the Rebel Touring is easy, giving you the flexibility you need for daily use. 

The Specs: 

The Rebel Touring is our range upgrade for the Onyx RCR. Using high capacity Samsung 50S cells, the Touring provides you with 55 Amp Hours and 3960 Watt Hours of Capacity, to give you 2.5x more range than the 23 Ah stock battery. Rated up to 275 Amps of real world continuous discharge (19.8KW), the Touring can also provide more power, giving you more control over how you ride. 

The Details: 

The Rebel Touring delivers high performance throughout discharge and is designed to handle whatever you throw at it. Pure nickel is used in construction along with a Smart BMS that is bypassed for discharge and includes overcharge protection. These steps allow the battery to run at staggeringly high efficiency and eliminate the possibility of overheating. Cell groups are isolated for superior durability, impact resistance, and each individual cell is fused for safety. 

Installation:

The updated Rebel Touring is a drop-in battery upgrade with no disassembly, grinding, or drilling required. This is the largest offering on the market with no modification needed! In the event you find the tolerance is a bit tight on an older RCR, you can use a mallet to gently bend out the front and rear of the internal battery tray, but this step is not necessary. The Touring uses the stock Anderson Power Pull discharge connector. If you are using an aftermarket connector, please contact us as we can include custom connectors. Carrying handle built-in to make installing and removing easy. 

Note that the following review by RunPlayBack features the old model of the Rebel Touring, which required some slight modification to the internal battery tray. The new model does not require this and has a slightly different shape, but otherwise is the same!
