How does it work? 

The BoardBank E-Series is a flexible battery solution that allows you to charge your board while you ride. Plug it into your charge port and turn it on - it's that easy! 

Mount it to the top of your deck with the included strap and buckle, or add-on a BoardBank Bag! Cable clips are included for the Carbon to account for the extra wire length needed to reach the charge port. See how to mount the battery with the two options here. 

How much range does it add?

Larger than your stock battery, achieving double the range is easy! Because it is a Charge and Ride solution, you may experience a few differing things:

If you are an aggressive rider tackling a lot of hills, your boards battery might drain faster than the E-Series is adding charge! If you are a casual rider, the E-Series might add charge faster than you're using it. If you're somewhere in the middle, the E-Series might charge around the same rate as your board is draining battery.

Additional Use Information: 

For the best experience we recomend turning on the BoardBank E-Series after you have drained your boards battery down to between 80%-90%. We do not recomend turning on the BoardBank E-Series right at the start of the ride due to the boards overcharge protection. Similar to braking regen when going down a hill, if your board is 100% while using the BoardBank E-Series it could cause the board to shut off to prevent overcharging. To prevent this from occurring, we recommending having the E-Series flipped off if you are riding while the board has greater than 90% state of charge. 

The percent display on the BoardBank E-Series will display a lower percent while in use due to load. When unplugged from the board and turned on, the display will show the true percentage. You can also use the Smart BMS app to view your E-Series state of charge.
